Shar Pei News from Witchgait

The puppies born on 28th April are growing well. We have available a dog or bitch. Mum, Toastie, is doing an amazing job. Dad, Tarquin, is yet too meet his new kids on the block.

Ch Witchgait Just One Slice JW, “Crumbs”, she never put a foot wrong!  1st Open Bitch, Bitch CC, Best of breed & shortlisted in the Utility Group

Breed judge Mr Derek Smith; group judge Rodney Oldham. So, so proud! 

Also, Crumbs daughter, Witchgait Show us ya Baps ” Boobie”, won 1st in Junior & her son, Dixie, 3rd in Post Graduate! Other Witchgait progeny also did well. Hovis won 2nd in open and Hoover 2nd in limit.

Puppies planed for early 2021! Crumbs (Top Shar Pei 2019 ) and Tarquin, our new import from Spain. Both parents have been health tested for POAG/PLL. Enquires welcome. If I have no puppies I will help you look for a suitable puppy froma reputable breeder who breeds for all the right reasons.

Tarquin (EkiZimurrak Jolerob When You Smile for Witchgait) wins BEST PUPPY IN SHOW!!   So, so thrilled!  Judges were Glenda Gilkes and BPIS. *Tarquin is available at stud to health tested girls *

Ch Witchgait Just One Slice (Crumbs) was awarded TOP SHAR PEI 2019 & Ch Witchgait Secret Keepsake (Toastie) was top brood bitch!!

At Crufts Crumbs won 1st in Open Bitch & the Bitch CC under Mr Terry Burgess, so she has 10 CCs, 8 BOBs & 3 RCCs at the age of 2 years old!  Have added some new photos to her gallery.

We had a very exciting start to 2020. Our much awaited puppy arrived from Spain! Tarquin has settled in well & is a big part of the Witchgait family. Tarquin was bred by Alicia, EkiZimurrak Shar Pei, and he is jointly owned by myself & Joy Bradley (Jolerob).

Also, very sad news, we lost our wonderful girl Tippi a couple of months ago. She was almost 13 years, we really miss her.

I have had a great couple of shows!

At WKC Crumbs won 1st in Junior Bitch, the Bitch CC & BEST OF BREED under Mr Stephen Cardwell

Off we went to City of Birmingham Championship Show, where Crumbs was awarded the Bitch CC & Best of Breed under Melanie Reed Peck.

Next was Richmond Championship Show, where Terry Purse awarded Crumbs 1st in Junior Bitch, the Bitch CC & Best of Breed, her 6th such award, and then Melanie Reed-Peck awarded her Utility Group 4!

I am truly overjoyed; all this & she isn’t 18 months yet. Thank you to all that have made this all possible.

OMG! Crumbs is now a champion (to be confirmed by KC) at Blackpool! She was awarded 1st in Junior, the Bitch CC and Best of Breed under Mrs Maggie Mulholland. We then went into the Junior Utility Group and won that under Jeff Luscott. What a day! Crumbs is the 8th champion that Witchgait have bred/owned. So, so proud. We do not breed very often so this is such an achievement for us.
REPEAT MATING HOPED FOR TOWARDS THE END OF THE YEAR.

At Bath Championship Show 2019 Crumbs won her 2nd CC and Best of Breed under top all rounder Mr Derek Smith!

Witchgait Just One Slice, “Crumbs”, won 1st in Junior, the Bitch CC and BEST OF BREED undercut Mark Cocoa. Then she won the Junior Stakes under Meg Purnell Carpenter. We then went into the Utility Group and won Utility Group 4 under Sue Dykes! All this at just 14 months old!! I am thrilled to bits and so proud of my girl.
